My Story

​"Hello and thank you for visiting! I am Connie Wilson, a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and entertainer. Connie Wilson & Company is proud to be one of the top cover bands, dance bands, jazz bands, and blues bands in the Midwest. We are a versatile and experienced group with over a hundred years of combined entertainment experience.

Each member of our band has performed with renowned groups such as The Chi-Lites, Royce, Heat Wave, and Earth Wind and Fire. We strive to create an enjoyable atmosphere for every guest, and we would be honored to be the band for your event. I started my singing journey at a young age, singing in my dad's church choir on the south side of Chicago.

I began exploring secular music at the age of eight and have cherished memories of entertaining classmates every Thursday with my favorite song, "I Found Love on a Two-Way Street" by the Moments. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing with local Chicago artists such as Jessi Terrell, The Reflections, KTP Band, The Scott Brothers, The Sounds of Slave, and Bobby Bush. One of my career highlights was sharing the stage with George Clinton and the Ohio Players at the Horseshoe Casino.

I have performed at various venues including Buddy Guys, Millennium Park, The Greek Festivals, and the Arcada Theatre in St Charles, IL. My music can be enjoyed internationally, with singles such as "I Am Love" and "Love Emotion Emotions" available on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Prime, and Apple Music.
